School Duffels

Made in Seattle, U.S.A. using 18oz canvas. High-resin molded tooth zipper, handles are heavy weight polypropolene, nickel D-rings for the optional shoulder strap, and includes an interior mesh pocket for valuables. Warranty: Four years

Medium

200M (11” x 22”) Medium School Duffel, a.k.a. The Classic. Used as a weekender by many a jetsetter because it's just under the standard overhead allowance of 14"x 22". This bag stands at the ready. Just tell it where to.

Small

200S (11” x 18”) Small School Duffel, a.k.a. The Gym Bag, The Ride or Die. Hops right on top of a rolling suitcase. Beautifully proportioned, its dimensions mirror the golden ratio.

Mini

JL08 (6” x 10”) The Mini,  a.k.a. The Mamacita, The Baby Burrito.  Has to have a strap for full effect (yours or ours).  Use as a purse for school events. Great booster or school store item.

$45

The Large

200L (13″ x 27″) Large School Duffel, a.k.a. The Tuna. Twenty-seven inches is the minimum recreational length for keeping a bluefin tuna. This size is roomy but not packrat roomy. It's big, but doable. Great option for teams that genuinely travel but don't have a ton of gear, such as tennis. Or - as a graduation gift. Go see the world with this one.

Sports Duffels

Here are the contenders: roomier bags with a mission. Ready for gear, clothing, balls. You can take it with you.

Extra Large

200XL (15” x 34”) a.k.a. The Contender, ideal for baseball and softball players. The Contender is a bat-length long, roomy without any corners, so suiting up is easy. It's a good choice for coming home from college on visits because it will fit the laundry but not all of it so that mom and dad don't worry. PSA for all the kids at school: Wash your sheets.

The Ball Bag

JL06 (13” x 16”) It is what it is - The Ball Bag. Fat, squat and ready to work. Easy to carry and stow. Ditch the 5 gallon buckets and take your travel game up a notch. Isn't it the worst when you're at an away game and their field doesn't have a net? It's just woods that steal your balls? And you don't know how many you lost because you came with all of them. Use a smaller bag and players know they got to catch that thing.

Lobo

JL53 (15″ x 42″)  The Lobo is a little bigger than the Lacrosse Bag, but doesn't have the side panels. It's a screaming deal, a lot of space and yes -bat and lax stick length. Understated but clearly stated. Your colors do the talking here.

The Middie

200L (13” x 27”) The Middie. It's just like the Tuna (see above) but with Velcro straps for attaching your stick. It's what we call ample but in no way super-sized. As a parent of youth, duffels are the way to go because it's harder to lose an elbow pad in a corner. Plus, you can lay on them like a pillow as you wait for your ride home.

Big Lax

220XL (13″ x 34″) This is the Big Lax, similar to the sport extra because it has velcro straps on the outside for lax sticks.  If it's baseball, best to put inside so that it doesn't slide away. The 220XL is the same length as our other Extra Large but a slightly smaller circumference.  Why? Options. Or it's just what fits in the back of the grocery getter.

Joey

230L (13” x 27”) a.k.a. The Joey. This is the large duffel with an exterior sleeve for sticks, bats, cricket wickets.  Think softball, baseball, lacrosse, cricket, etc.

Boomer

230XL (15” x 34”) a.k.a. The Boomer, which is a nickname for Kangaroo because yes, there is a long, lengthwise, outside pocket for your sticks and bats. THE choice for travel ball. Rides as well in a car as it does on an airline. Empty the pocket, of course.  In the olden days, players taped their sticks and handed them to the flight attendants. Nowadays, most have you tape a few items together and check. Alaska Airlines waives the oversize fee for a lot of sport equipment.

Lacrosse

240 (13” x 42”) The Lacrosse. Guess how long a lacrosse stick is? The length of this bag, or 42 inches. Unless, of course, you have the long pole and playing D.  Get after it. Stick goes inside, nestled inside the shell.  For a while, they were making lacrosse bags that were rectangular on bottom and rounded on top.  It was trying to be fetch but wasn't. Clean lines everytime.

Square Bags, a.k.a. The Portable Lockers

Not duffels  (in our opinion only. We classify duffels as round). Look, when you are cutting circles this big, you have to cut square or just start burning your money. These big square bags are made for taking to the ice in a single bag. Definitely for the football player. For gloves and shinguards, faceguards, mouthguards,  practice & game helmets, satin jackets, even the sideline cape. It all fits. After you hang up the cleats or skates, maybe this is the bag that holds your winter closet.

The Youth

JL39 (16” x 16” x 34″)The smallest of the square bags which isn't small at all. Hockey Bag. Or football!

The Junior

JL09 (16” x 16” x 36″) The Junior Hockey Bag.  Also popular with softball and baseball catchers. Shoulder strap included.

The Great One

JL09-P (16” x 16” x 36″) The Great One. Shoulder strap and skate pocket included.

The Goalie

JL10 (20” x 20” x 40″) Goalie Bag. Shoulder strap included. Double set of D-rings in the corner.

Have we talked about the 600D polyester fabric?

At canvas quality but slightly lighter, we have two square bags that are sewn with our stiff and sturdy polyester option. They are unquestionably durable, with  a thick tightly woven fiber that feels like a canvas.  Sometimes people call it Oxford Cloth or Cordura. It's in heavy rotation in the Pacific Northwest and Bass Pro Shops. Fourteen colors!

With these, the end panel color is the same as the whole bag color. Art is on the end panel and included. For a bit extra, you can also put some art on the pocket.   Shoulder strap is optional.

The Pop

JL29 (13” x 13” x 31″) Top-seller for football teams, particularly youth. Does not break the bank. Comes with a front pocket on the exterior. It is the same width as most of the duffels, but more room to fit.

El Rey

JL35 (16” x 16” x 36″) Thebeefier football bag, also with a side, exterior pocket. Notably larger. A classic, can-do, well done bit of a football bag that will have you wanting to play another season.  Compare to the Great One or the Junior.
